Chase started his legal career with Smith, Welch, Webb & White as a Legal Intern following his senior year of high school where he was coached by our attorneys at Eagle’s Landing High School’s Mock Trial program. Chase now coaches that very same team!
Chase attended the University of Georgia for his undergraduate studies and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Sociology. While at UGA, Chase interned with the Athens-Clarke County Solicitor General’s Office where he was able to observe all aspects of the litigation process and gained valuable trial experience.
For law school, Chase attended the Mercer University School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor and graduated magna cum laude in the top ten percent of his class. While at Mercer, Chase was on the Mercer Law Review and served as the editor of the Eleventh Circuit Survey. Further, while at law school, Chase was a member of Phi Delta Phi and the Mercer Law Fellowship of Adolescent Mentors. Based on his academic achievement, Chase was awarded with membership into Phi Kappa Phi, membership into the Brainerd Currie Honor Society, and with the State Bar of Georgia Real Property Award.
Chase is a die-hard football fan who bleeds red and black for both the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons. Chase is also a major foodie and wants to know about all of the best places to eat. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, friends, and his dog, Arya.
