Smith, Welch, Webb & White is proud to share that Attorney Lajuana Ransaw recently joined her client, the Housing Authority of the City of College Park, Georgia in celebrating a major milestone, the groundbreaking of the Blue Sky Apartments.
Held on-site in College Park, Georgia, the ceremony marked the start of construction on a transformative project that will bring 180 new affordable housing units to the community. The Blue Sky Apartments are the result of a strategic partnership between the Housing Authority for the City of College Park, Blue Ridge Atlantic, and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs aimed at increasing access to quality housing for local residents.
Attorney Ransaw, who represents the Housing Authority, was present alongside stakeholders and community leaders to commemorate the event. The groundbreaking signifies more than just the beginning of construction, it represents years of planning, collaboration, and commitment to meeting the affordable housing needs of College Park’s growing population.
“This project is a shining example of what’s possible when public and private sectors come together with a shared goal,” said Ransaw. “It has been a privilege to support the Housing Authority throughout this process and see the vision for Blue Sky Apartments move forward.”
Once completed, the development will not only provide much-needed affordable housing but will also contribute to the broader revitalization efforts taking place in the city of College Park.
