Samantha Wicker, Associate

Samantha attended Georgia State University and received her Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice on a legal track, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2020. Samantha attended Charleston School of Law and received her Juris Doctor with a focus on Criminal Practice and graduated Magna Cum Laude in December 2022. While in law school, Samantha was president of the Christian Legal Society, Vice President of the Criminal Law Society, and a member of many other groups. Samantha became a Presidential Honors Scholar during her first year of law school and upon graduation, became a member of the Forensic Club, which is based on leadership, professionalism, and academic commitment.

Samantha gained experience by participating in an expungement clinic run by the Public Defender’s office in Charleston, spending a summer working at a legal clinic that assisted those who are facing homelessness, and worked for Alex Toporek at Toporek Law in Charleston, SC. Samantha was able to file expungements for clients, represent clients in Housing Court, and work on various criminal cases. Currently, Samantha’s practice areas encompass civil litigation, school board representation, and local government.

Samantha is a big soccer fan, especially of Atlanta United. She also enjoys spending her free time with friends and family, painting, or enjoying outdoor activities.
