Smith, Welch, Webb and White welcomed three of our interns for the summer of 2021. They will be joining our firm to expand their knowledge and put their skills to practice alongside our attorneys and staff.

Chad Capers is a rising 3L at Mercer University’s School of Law. Susana Gude is a rising 3L at Emory University, School of Law. She is interested in civil litigation, particularly in the field of personal injury, as well as family law. Susana chose to join our firm “because of it’s brilliant reputation and strong sense of community,” She enjoys cooking and weightlifting, and used to be a concert pianist.

Lucas Iddings is attending the University of Georgia School of Law and is a rising 2L. Lucas is a Bryant T. Castellow Memorial Scholarship Recipient at Georgia Law and serves two student group executive boards for Sports and Entertainment Law Society and Fabrica Legis. He is interested in Education Law and Corporate Law. Lucas decided to intern with Smith, Welch, Webb and White “because, growing up in McDonough, I was able to see the great role this firm and these attorneys played in the community as both an institution and as individuals. The people at the firm are welcoming and driven, and SWWW’s wide array of practice areas is a great way to learn from many qualified people about several areas of the legal practice,” He enjoys music and the arts and was in Georgia’s Redcoat Marching Band through his college career.
